I am wondering what you think about starting an early worship service. The time would be 8:30 am Sunday mornings, Sunday School at regular time. Just let me know what you think.

I am not sure if anyone will respond to this entry, but in my effort to promote discussion, I will ask yet again. The Summer in the Son events went so well that some have asked to continue them. Since the old church has been taken down, finally, I was just wondering what were some of your thoughts. Maybe you would like to share some of your best memories in that building. We would love to hear them.

The timeshare is located across the street from the beach in Garden City, SC (near Myrtle Beach). It's available for one week in January - March or October 29th - November 5th. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a Washer/Dryer.

How cool is it that now you can give online. Online giving, Podcasts of the sermons, it seems we are barrelling into the 21st Century and not looking back and I LOVE it!

My wife is a huge "Little House on the Prairie" fan and we recently bought 7 seasons of Little House on DVD. I've been watching these with her and both of my kids have just fallen in love with the show.

As I've been watching I've noticed how much scripture and Christian morality plays into almost every episode. I was thinking it would be neat have a weekly small group at someone's house. We could start at Season 1 Episode 1 and watch one episode a week. We could have some finger foods while were watching it and when it was over we could have a short devotional time by looking scriptures that were related to the show and discussing similar trails and situations in our own lives.
